Business overview

The Group primarily operates human resources services specializing in the food service industry, as well as food processing businesses, including frozen seafood processing and prepared foods, through its investment business. Its mission is “Food is People,” and its vision is “Empower the Food People.” In December 2025, the Group entered into a capital and business alliance with a major food supermarket group. It aims to grow its businesses from a people-centered foundation and expand its business domain across the food industry as a whole. In its HR business, the Group is rebuilding its marketing initiatives and working to restore applications and interview conversion rates, its leading KPIs, to normalized levels, although it says there is a certain time lag before this translates into revenue. In its investment business, the Group reported a review of unprofitable transactions by きゅういち株式会社, an inventory valuation loss on scallops, and higher sales and a return to profitability at マルヒロ太田食品株式会社 following its participation in department store events. Segment revenue figures, including 681? for the HR business and figures for the investment business and other segments, have been disclosed. Total revenue for the interim period was ¥1,414 million, net loss attributable to owners of the parent was ¥95 million, and interim comprehensive loss was ¥95 million. There were no significant changes to the business.
