Throughout the interim consolidated period, the Group focused on its end-of-life services business and sought to build an “end-of-life infrastructure” by providing services related to cemeteries, funerals, Buddhist altars, inheritance, long-term care, and public-private collaboration. Revenue from the long-term care business increased 59.2% year on year, while revenue from the public-private collaboration business rose 34.1%. Revenue from the funeral business also remained solid, increasing 20.8% year on year. As the end-of-life services business constitutes a single segment, segment results are not provided.
