During the interim consolidated period, the TOHO Group continued to provide food wholesale and proposal-based solutions to the foodservice markets in Japan and overseas, centered on its three business segments: Distributor (food wholesale for commercial use), Cash & Carry (cash wholesale of food products for commercial use), and Food Solutions. Net sales were ¥136,455 million, up 13.63% year on year; operating profit was ¥3,697 million; ordinary profit was ¥3,768 million; interim net income attributable to owners of the parent was ¥2,371 million; interim comprehensive income was ¥2,468 million; cash and cash equivalents at the end of the interim period were ¥10,188 million; total assets were ¥99,995 million; net assets were ¥36,226 million; and the equity ratio was 36.1%. The share split following the end of the 73rd fiscal year was effected on 1 February 2026, with the Company’s shares split at a ratio of 3-for-1. Interim net income per share was ¥74.36. Net income per share for the period was calculated on a non-diluted basis. No impact from potential shares is disclosed because no potential shares exist. The Group’s principal businesses are divided into three segments: Distributor (food wholesale for commercial use), Cash & Carry (cash wholesale of food products for commercial use), and Food Solutions, with net sales and profit presented for each segment. Steady performance in the domestic Distributor business, expansion of the overseas business, and stronger cooperation across the Group contributed to results. As the final year of SHIFT-UP 2027 (the fiscal years ending January 2025 through January 2027), the Group continued to implement the following three priority measures: “Transformation toward a new growth stage,” “Promotion of sustainability management,” and “Improving corporate recognition and continuing shareholder returns.” As part of its overseas expansion, the Group acquired 40% of the issued shares of Vietnam’s KOME88 JOINTSTOCK COMPANY in February 2026, making it an equity-method affiliate, and opened a Cash & Carry store under the A-PRICE Singapore brand at TOHO Singapore Pte. Ltd. in July, among other initiatives to expand its overseas operations.
