During the period, the Company operated a single business segment, its live-streaming communication platform business. Its principal initiatives included launching a “beauty filter” feature that naturally enhances the appearance of the skin, eyes and nose; developing user-participation campaigns enjoyed by both streamers and viewers; holding joint online viewing events; organizing “活動者□展,” an exhibition showcasing square-format art; initiatives to expand interaction among creators; adding PayPay payment support and an X follow-management function; and making the top 2 plans of “Membership U,” for users aged 18 and over, available. Monthly average points ARPPU was ¥8,052, up 12.2% year on year. Adjusted gross profit was ¥988.417 million, up 8.3% year on year. Monthly average points PU was 57 thousand, down 15.7% year on year. Revenue from point sales was ¥2,762 million, down 5.5% year on year. Net sales were ¥3,181.044 million, down 3.8% year on year; operating income was ¥122.113 million, down 16.5%; ordinary income was ¥181.349 million, up 0.1%; and interim net income was ¥121.596 million, up 76.6%. Cash and cash equivalents stood at ¥2,325.425 million at the end of the interim period. The Company does not prepare interim consolidated financial statements and has no equity-method affiliates. Shareholders’ equity increased as a result of a ¥460.762 million increase in stated capital, bringing total stated capital to ¥510.762 million, and a ¥460.762 million increase in capital surplus, bringing total capital surplus to ¥2,405.536 million. The equity ratio was 59.7%, reflecting an increase in retained earnings.
The Company entered into a capital and business alliance with SBI Holdings, Inc. on 19 May 2026. Following discussions held on the same date, the parties will seek to connect the neo-media ecosystem partnered with by the SBI Group with the fan-community platform of the Company’s TwitCasting service. Under this capital and business alliance, the Company allocated 3,351,000 common shares to SBI Holdings, Inc. on 30 June 2026. The issue price was ¥275 per share, and the total amount paid in was ¥921,525,000. The business alliance is expected to generate synergies across multiple areas, including the joint discovery and development of next-generation creators; joint marketing and IP development centered on the paid-streaming and fan-community economies; the construction and enhancement of financial and AI infrastructure supporting the ecosystem and its operations; the nationwide expansion of regional resources and promotion of regional revitalization through live streaming; and cooperation in the overseas expansion of IP and content through digital platforms.
