Business overview

The Group’s management philosophy is to “make Japanese culture more accessible,” “bring our hospitality to the world,” and “make the world a more enjoyable place.” Its core operations comprise two business segments: the traditional Japanese attire business and the wedding business. The traditional Japanese attire business focuses on the sale and rental of kimono and other traditional Japanese garments, the sale and rental of furisode, pre-coming-of-age ceremony photography, kimono dressing and hairstyling, and the operation of kimono dressing classes. The wedding business centers on operating wedding venues and providing wedding-related services. With bases and facilities in Japan and overseas, the Group is expanding its store network and making use of events, primarily through the traditional Japanese attire business, while bringing high-quality services in-house through the wedding business. Over the medium to long term, the Group aims to improve profitability by strengthening the brands of its traditional Japanese attire business and enhancing and bringing in-house the facilities and wedding production capabilities of its wedding business.
