Business overview

The Group primarily provides SaaS solutions that support the digitalization of business processes and is pursuing growth centered on its cloud business. Its horizontal SaaS offerings include SmartDB® and Insuite®, while its vertical SaaS offerings include Shopらん®, a chain-store information-sharing tool, and DCR (DX Custom Resolution). For on-premises environments, the Group provides packaged software and software maintenance services while promoting initiatives to facilitate migration to the cloud. In the first quarter, it launched Practical AI (PA), an AI feature, and is working to expand its customer base and drive upselling. The Group provides Insuite®, an internal portal development tool, and Shopらん®, a chain-store information-sharing tool, and is promoting cross-selling by strengthening their integration with SmartDB®. In the second quarter, the number of newly acquired companies increased from 5 in the first quarter to 13, accelerating growth in the horizontal SaaS business. The Group is stepping up proposals to migrate customers from on-premises to cloud environments and generating opportunities to support the future expansion of its cloud business. The Professional Services business reported lower revenue and a segment loss due to the reaction to the concentration of orders for large projects in the same period of the previous year, but the Group expects large-scale implementation support projects to get fully underway in the second half.
