Business overview

The group’s principal businesses are CAD/CAM systems and related products, and mold manufacturing. It has published consolidated financial information for the 19th interim consolidated accounting period (1 January 2025 to 30 June 2025) and the 20th interim consolidated accounting period (1 January 2026 to 30 June 2026). Revenue for the period increased from the previous interim consolidated accounting period, while profit declined. Revenue from the CAD/CAM systems and related business increased substantially year on year, whereas the mold manufacturing business saw a marked decline in both revenue and profit due to deteriorating order conditions and other factors. Overseas sales showed signs of recovery in Thailand, South Korea and North America, while Indonesia and Vietnam remained sluggish. Cash and cash equivalents at the end of the interim period were ¥3,030.572 million. Research and development expenses were ¥472.586 million. From the second half onward, the company expects a gradual recovery in the manufacturing sector and plans to continue making systematic proposals aimed at improving productivity.
