Business overview

Our group was founded in 1891 (Meiji 24) by Takatō Kyōgoku, the ninth head of the Kyōgoku family. Since then, we have developed a comprehensive logistics business centered on transportation related to petroleum products, liquid chemicals and high-pressure gases, as well as port transportation, customs clearance, warehousing, sales of containers such as drums, and tank cleaning and repair. However, the business environment is changing rapidly in modern society, driven by developments in digital technology and increasingly diverse consumer needs, making it increasingly difficult to predict how it will evolve. Amid these major changes, we established a corporate philosophy comprising “Our Mission,” “Our Vision” and “Our Standards of Conduct” to serve as a compass for flexibly determining the direction of our business. With the motto “Let’s make this a good company,” we will move forward toward the next 100 years, aiming to become an organization in which every employee finds fulfillment in their work and wants to participate proactively.
