Business overview

JTEC CORPORATION operates across three business areas, centered on its proprietary high-precision optical technology and processing and measurement technologies for biomedical and semiconductor applications. In its Optical business, it designs, manufactures and sells ultra-high-precision X-ray mirrors (OsakaMirror), primarily for synchrotron radiation and X-ray free-electron laser facilities. In its Life Science and Equipment Development business, it is pursuing the development and sale of large-scale automatic cell culture systems, including CellMeister and MakCell, as well as cell culture and related equipment. In its Other business, it owns Denshi Kagaku Co., Ltd. as a consolidated subsidiary, which develops and sells analytical equipment centered on temperature-programmed desorption analyzers (TDS). To meet growing demand for high-precision mirrors in the synchrotron radiation market, the company is also optimizing its mix of in-house production and outsourcing and advancing its business capabilities and productivity through industry-academic collaboration.
