Business overview

Throughout the interim period, Agora Hospitality Group continued to maintain a business portfolio centered on its hotel operations while pursuing opportunities in emerging inbound markets such as India and Southeast Asia. Although operating conditions at its hotels in the Osaka area deteriorated and the number of travelers from China declined, the Group is diversifying its business through measures including the opening of new hotels in the Kansai area, notably Dorsett by Agora Osaka Sakai. Attention is focused on macro trends in tourism demand, including inbound demand at Narita and Kansai airports, foreign passenger trends and the weaker-yen trend.
