Business overview

MORITO Group’s principal businesses are the manufacture and sale of apparel-related materials, lifestyle industry materials and products, and automotive interior components. The Group operates a diverse range of businesses in Japan and overseas. During the interim period, it expanded its organizational scope by acquiring shares and making Ms.ID and Mitsuboshi Corporation consolidated subsidiaries, which increased sales of healthcare-related products, game-related products, kitchen equipment-related services, and other offerings. As part of its sustainability initiatives through Rideeco® (Rideeco), the Group is promoting the development and sale of “MURON,” a yarn made entirely from discarded fishing nets, and “ASUKAMI,” mixed-furnish paper made using fabric offcuts. As part of its investment strategy under its ambitious medium-term management plan, the Group has set a policy of expanding its manufacturing capabilities.
