The Group is primarily engaged in the manufacture and sale of hydraulic shock absorbers and hydraulic equipment, as well as related services. Its reportable segments comprise three areas—AC (Automotive Components), HC (Hydraulic Components), and Aircraft Components—together with Other, which includes businesses not classified within these segments. The Group also handles concrete mixer trucks and other products in its special-purpose vehicle and other product businesses. The Group marked its 90th anniversary in 2025 and announced the “KYB GROUP VISION 2035” toward its centennial anniversary in 2035. To realize this long-term vision, the Group has established a medium-term plan built around three pillars: optimizing its business portfolio, creating new businesses, and innovating manufacturing. In 2026, it set out the 26 Mid-Term Basic Policy and is advancing initiatives focused on business portfolio optimization, manufacturing innovation, and management infrastructure reform.
