Business overview

ラサ商事 is a traditional trading company group operating across six core businesses: resources and metal materials, industrial and construction machinery, environmental equipment, chemical products, plant and equipment construction, and real estate leasing. Its operations center on the import, export and sale of mineral products, particularly zircon sand, along with the supply of materials such as welding materials, refractory materials and ceramic materials; the distribution and maintenance of pumps for industrial and construction machinery; the import and sale of high-pressure pump equipment for environmental facilities and the sale and refurbishment of its proprietary water-granulated slag production equipment (Rasa System); the sale of synthetic resins and chemical products; the design, construction and maintenance of plants and equipment; and the leasing of group-owned real estate. The stable supply of zircon sand is secured under an exclusive domestic distribution agreement with Australia's Iluka Resources. In construction machinery, the company supplies Warman pumps in cooperation with 大平洋機工株式会社. In environmental equipment, it imports and sells piston pumps manufactured by Germany's Putzmeister, diaphragm pumps manufactured by Feluwa, and plunger pumps manufactured by Uraca, supplying them for applications including sewage sludge treatment and industrial waste treatment. Under its medium-term management plan, “Step Forward Rasa 2027—Toward the Growth Stage,” announced in May 2025, the fiscal year ending March 2028 is set as the final year. The consolidated management targets for the final year are revenue of ¥31.5 billion, operating profit of ¥2.9 billion, ordinary profit of ¥3.15 billion, and net income attributable to owners of the parent of ¥2.3 billion. The company has set ROE of at least 10% and an operating profit margin of at least 9% as first-phase targets, and is promoting sustainability management, initiatives in new and growth areas, and deeper engagement in existing businesses.
