Business overview

The principal business of our group is the manufacture and sale of stainless steel tubes, stainless steel bars, stainless steel fabricated products and steel pipes in the stainless steel-related business, together with the manufacture and sale of machinery such as pipe-cutting machines to reduce labor requirements in pipe processing. The business is managed by geographical segment and reported in 2 reportable segments: Japan and Indonesia. In Japan, we manufacture and sell stainless steel tubes, bars, steel pipes, fabricated products and related products, while processing certain products through our consolidated subsidiaries モリ金属㈱ and 関東モリ工業㈱. In Indonesia, our consolidated subsidiary PT. MORY INDUSTRIES INDONESIA handles the manufacture and sale of stainless steel tubes. Our equity-method affiliate Auto Metal Company Limited is based in Thailand and primarily manufactures and sells stainless steel tubes for the motorcycle and automobile industries in Thailand and surrounding markets.
