Choushimaru opened its new-format sushi restaurant, Sushi Yasuke Shiosai Jiyugaoka, inside a commercial facility in Jiyugaoka. Promoting sustainability, the restaurant offers menus that take nature and health into consideration, including brown sugar-fed farmed fish.
Choushimaru, a conveyor-belt sushi chain, opened its new-format restaurant, Sushi Yasuke Shiosai (Sushi Yasuke Shiosai) Jiyugaoka, inside JIYUGAOKA MUSE SQUARE in Jiyugaoka, Tokyo. Its concept is “Good for your body, good for the planet, and comfortable for the mind. Enjoy sustainable sushi that is just a little special.”
The restaurant actively incorporates farmed fish, including yellowtail and red sea bream among the “brown sugar-fed farmed fish,” which are raised on feed blended with brown sugar. Tasmanian salmon is also served, while the sushi rice is made with the rare branded rice “Takomai” from Tako, Chiba Prefecture.
As an opening promotion, “Assorted bluefin tuna sushi (5 pieces)” is available at the special price of ¥1,750. The promotion runs from 17 September to 31 October and is limited to dine-in customers.
The restaurant is open from 11:00 to 21:00. A fish-preparation area at the entrance is enclosed in glass, creating a workshop-style presentation where customers can watch chefs make sushi in front of them. The interior features an ocean-inspired design and includes seating designed with families in mind.
