FORVAL TELECOM,INC. operates three main businesses centered on information and communications services. It combines communications services through its IP & Mobile Solutions Business, including VoIP, internet and information and communications equipment sales for corporate and individual customers; electricity and city gas supply through its Utility Business; and management-support consulting, insurance, security, content solutions and DX consulting through its Consulting Business. It provides a business platform that builds and operates its own billing-provider function. The company directly owns only part of the communications infrastructure, while most services are provided on a wholesale basis using communications lines and other resources procured from external operators. It uses a self-developed customer database and billing system to provide a billing-provider function that handles billing and collection on an integrated basis. Its services are organized into three categories: the IP & Mobile Solutions Business, Utility Business and Consulting Business. The segment structure was changed from fiscal 2025. The company also offers services using fiber-optic networks, including Smart Hikari, a broadband service for IP telephony and data communications using the fiber-optic network of ARTERIA Networks Corporation.
