Business overview

The Group’s principal business is the manufacture and sale of automotive seats and seat components. It has affiliated companies, plants and development centers in Japan and overseas. Based on the medium- to long-term management plan TVE Wave2 (beginning in FY2027), the Group aims to expand its business portfolio by deepening its existing businesses and creating new business areas. It targets sales of approximately ¥400 billion in FY2030 and is advancing three forms of “shinka”—deepening, evolution and innovation—centered on three materialities: addressing social issues, remaining a trusted and continually chosen company, and cultivating the people and culture needed to create value. The Group is strengthening its sustainability promotion framework and working to enhance governance and capital efficiency. Key initiatives include launching production of seats for the N-ONE e for Honda Motor Co., Ltd., producing seats for SAIC Motor’s IM LS9, and regional production of upholstery and frame components.
