HitoMile Co.,Ltd. announced logistics support for the second installment of the Japan Glass Bottle Association's “Tsuzuku ni Tsuzuke” initiative. Returnable bottles will be delivered to participating stores and empty bottles collected using a two-way logistics system.
HitoMile Co.,Ltd. (formerly Kakuyasu Group) announced that it would support the second installment of “Tsuzuku ni Tsuzuke,” an event organized by the Japan Glass Bottle Association. The company plans to use Kakuyasu's two-way logistics service to deliver returnable bottles to participating stores in the Tokyo and Osaka areas and collect empty bottles.
“Tsuzuku ni Tsuzuke” is a short-story anthology project centered on the circulation of returnable bottles. Customers who order participating bottles receive an original short story. The project likens the journey of a single bottle to a baton passed along, offering an opportunity to consider a sustainable future.
In its second year, 5 new participating writers will be added, bringing the total to 8, and the event area will expand from Tokyo to Aichi, Kyoto and Osaka. The event will run from the week of 26 October 2026 through the week of 13 December 2026 and is scheduled to end at each store once inventory runs out.
The HitoMile Group has long used two-way logistics to deliver returnable bottles and collect empty bottles, thereby supporting the Japan Glass Bottle Association's environmental and resource-circulation initiatives.
