HitoMile Co.,Ltd. announced its cooperation as the Japan Glass Bottle Association prepares to launch the second edition of “Tsuzuku ni Tsuzuke” on 26 October. The initiative aims to help create a sustainable, circular society.
Through a two-way logistics service using its alcohol sales business and in-house delivery network, the company will deliver returnable bottles to participating establishments in the Tokyo and Osaka areas and collect empty bottles. This will support the circulation of returnable bottles.
The event will expand its operating areas from Tokyo to Aichi, Kyoto and Osaka, and will run from the week of 26 October 2026 through the week of 13 December 2026. It is scheduled to be developed as a short-story project in the Reading note edition, with 5 new writers joining to bring total participation to 8.
HitoMile Co.,Ltd.’s initiative is positioned as an effort to preserve the Japanese landscape by connecting returnable bottles with restaurants and sento culture. The company says it will continue promoting initiatives that contribute to building a circular society.
