NIPPON KANZAI Holdings Co.,Ltd. was ultimately selected, with its proposal, past service record, and local cooperation structure cited as factors in the decision.
The contract runs for 5 years from 1 April 2027 to 31 March 2032. The company will provide comprehensive management services covering the maintenance and inspection of building equipment, cleaning, repair management, performance verification, and other activities. This will centralise services that had previously been ordered separately by each department, with the aim of standardising management levels and improving administrative efficiency.
The services include the use of local businesses. Some inspection services will be outsourced to local contractors to support the local economy and establish a system for rapid response. The policy is to extend the useful lives of public facilities and optimise operating costs through cooperation between the local government and the private sector.
Going forward, the company plans to combine remote monitoring using digital technology with preventive maintenance based on data analysis to build a flexible operating model drawing on its strengths as an independent building management company. The expansion of comprehensive management nationwide is also anticipated, with the aim of advancing infrastructure management that contributes to the safety and security of local communities.
