A joint venture led by 日本管財ホールディングス has launched comprehensive facility management services for 61 public facilities in Kawaminami Town, Miyazaki Prefecture. The facilities, including the town hall, schools, and a cultural hall, will be maintained and managed over the long term. The contract runs from 1 October 2026 to 31 March 2032, a period of 5 years and 6 months, with the aim of improving administrative efficiency and facility safety by using the expertise of private-sector operators.
The project is being undertaken by the Kawaminami Town Comprehensive Facility Management Joint Venture, led by the Kyushu Headquarters of 日本管財株式会社 and comprising Kyushu Electric Power Company,Incorporated and ニシコー. The scope includes the town hall, community facilities, schools, a cultural hall, a library complex, and parks.
Specific services include periodic patrol inspections, repairs costing up to ¥2 million per item, and maintenance inspections. A call center operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year will be established to provide a system for responding promptly to breakdowns and other problems.
