Apple announced that its redesigned Health app will support Japanese. Insights and Health Age will become available in the iOS 27.3 developer beta, with a free update for the general public expected by year-end.
On 3 November 2026, Apple announced that its Health app, redesigned around Apple Intelligence, will also support Japanese. The app had been available for testing in US English, and the announcement will expand availability to multiple languages, including Japanese. Support will first become available in the iOS 27.3 developer beta, with a free update for the general public expected by year-end.
A total of 10 languages, including Japanese, are listed as supported, including Japanese, English, Chinese and Korean. Apple said it will continue expanding support to other languages.
The Insights tab summarises the day's status, while the For You feature suggests ways to spend each day. Health Age is at the centre of the Longevity tab, displaying an indicator comparing the user's health age with their actual age based on data such as VO2 max and resting heart rate, which require an Apple Watch. The app will also be able to import test results such as A1c and LDL.
New features will use the camera and Apple Watch to measure flexibility, strength and balance. Video is processed and stored on the device, and the required equipment includes an Apple Watch and AirPods Pro 3. Availability will begin with the iOS 27.3 beta on 3 November, with a free update for the general public planned by year-end.
