Apple’s redesigned Health app expands language support to 10 languages, including Japanese. It is available today in the iOS 27.3 developer beta, with a public release scheduled for later this year. New Insights and Longevity tabs have also been added, along with assessment features that can be used at home.
Apple’s redesigned Health app, announced in September 2026, will expand support to 10 languages, including Japanese. The supported languages are English, Chinese, French, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish and Vietnamese. The app is included in the first developer beta of iOS 27.3, which is available from today, and is scheduled to be released to general users later this year.
The new Insights tab summarizes and displays data on heart health, sleep, readiness, fitness, vitals and cycle tracking throughout the day, while the Longevity tab shows long-term trends and Health Age. Built around Apple Intelligence, these features are designed to provide recommendations based on clinical guidance at the appropriate time.
An at-home fitness assessment has also been introduced. By placing an iPhone on the floor to record movement with its camera and using an Apple Watch to measure heart rate, users can assess flexibility, strength, balance and VO2 max. Real-time feedback is available during the assessment, and videos are not saved or shared.
