Seibu Prince Hotels Worldwide will launch the new VILLA PRINCE brand and open its first Karuizawa property, Villa Prince Karuizawa Higashi no Mori, on 30 July 2027. Of the 41 villas, 22 will be dog villas, and the company will offer spacious villas with total floor areas of approximately 89 m² or more.
Seibu Prince Hotels Worldwide explained the launch of its new brand and outlined a major renovation project in Karuizawa. As its first project, it will open Villa Prince Karuizawa Higashi no Mori and proceed with a plan comprising 4 areas. Total project cost is approximately ¥29 billion, with openings scheduled to proceed in stages from 30 July 2027 through 2028.
Guestroom types will comprise 3 categories: dog villas, forest villas and snow villas, with total floor areas ranging from 88.72 m² to 127.20 m². Of the 41 villas, 22 will be dog villas, all equipped with private dog runs, along with a dog run exclusively for guests.
