Casio Computer announced that it will launch the LF-40W-1AJF/LF-40W-2AJF/LF-40W-8AJF, a unisex LCD digital watch combining time and graphic displays, as new models in the CASIO CLASSIC series in November. The three-bar display window at the bottom provides displays linked to the time and watch functions.
The LF-40W-1AJF, LF-40W-2AJF and LF-40W-8AJF have been announced as new models in the CASIO CLASSIC series, featuring LCD displays that combine time and graphic displays. They use an LCD graphic design that takes advantage of the vertically elongated face and have square cases designed for both men and women.
The upper section displays the alarm, hourly time signal, button tones and the summer-time setting’s ON/OFF status. The middle and lower sections count up the passage of time in 10-second and 1-second increments, respectively, in sync with the seconds.
The band uses biomass plastic made from renewable organic resources. The watches are water-resistant for everyday use and allow users to register 4 different cities for display switching and city replacement through the multi-time function. World time covers 26 cities. Other features include a 1/100-second stopwatch, timer, 5 time alarms and an LED backlight. Price: ¥4,400.
