Casio Computer will add the MONOTONE MIX, featuring a black-and-gray color scheme, to the classic DW-5600, DW-6900, DW-5900 and DWE-5600 G-SHOCK models and launch it in November.
Casio Computer announced that it will add MONOTONE MIX, a monotone-color design applied to four classic models of the shock-resistant G-SHOCK watch. The models are the DW-5600MTM-8JF, DW-6900MTM-8JF, DW-5900MTM-8JF and DWE-5600MTM-8JF, all featuring a design centered on black and gray.
Three of the models feature a metal buckle with a honing finish and silver vapor deposition on the glass, while the DW-6900MTM-8JF also has a honing finish on the front button. The DWE-5600MTM-8JF has a clear-black face with a gray mesh-pattern print and silver vapor deposition.
The mix design uses different shades of monotone colors for each component and incorporates a Carbon Core Guard structure, with carbon-fiber-reinforced resin used for the center case. Some models also use biomass plastic as the main resin.
Each model features a shock-resistant structure, 20-bar water resistance and a Super Illuminator high-brightness LED backlight. The DW-5600MTM-8JF, DW-6900MTM-8JF and DWE-5600MTM-8JF offer a 1/100-second stopwatch, timer, multi-function alarm and flash alert, while the DW-5900MTM-8JF includes world time and other functions.
Prices are ¥15,950 for the DW-5600MTM-8JF, ¥17,050 for the DW-6900MTM-8JF, ¥15,950 for the DW-5900MTM-8JF and ¥28,050 for the DWE-5600MTM-8JF. The models are scheduled for release in November.
