千趣会 revised its consolidated results forecast for the fiscal year ending December 2026 downward, revising revenue to ¥41 billion and operating income (loss) to a loss of ¥1.2 billion. The delay in digitalization and an increase in inventory clearance sales appear to have affected results.
千趣会 revised its consolidated results forecast for the fiscal year ending December 2026 downward. Revenue was revised to ¥41 billion, ¥4 billion below the previous forecast, while operating income (loss) was revised from an operating profit of ¥200 million to an operating loss of ¥1.2 billion.
千趣会 has been implementing business structure reforms and measures to restore performance under its turnaround plan for 2025–2027, but its customer base declined as the company reorganized into generation-specific business domains with clearly defined customer targets.
Gross profit declined because progress on and the realization of benefits from measures to shift the mail-order business toward digital channels were delayed, and orders fell short of target. The shortfall in orders and an increase in inventory clearance sales also contributed to the downward revision to the full-year forecast.
A reduction in executive compensation was also approved. The representative director and president will receive a 50% reduction in monthly compensation, while internal directors, senior executive officers and executive officers will receive reductions of 30%, 25% and 20%, respectively.
