Image One sharply revised down its standalone earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending September 2026 after the market closed on the 12th. Net sales are expected to change from ¥1.377 billion to ¥580 million, while operating income and net income are both expected to change from profits to losses.
In its healthcare solutions business, system sales fell short of plan, partly because of the impact of price adjustments stemming from higher procurement costs. The company also failed to win a large electronic medical records-related order. As a result, standalone net sales for the fiscal year ending September 2026 are expected to contract by just under 70%, while the outlook for operating income and net income has deteriorated substantially.
In the nine-month cumulative results announced at the same time, net sales were ¥433 million, down 41.2% year on year, while the operating loss was ¥386 million and the net loss was ¥377 million. Both losses widened from the losses recorded in the same period of the previous year.
Delays in securing new projects in the welfare and environmental solutions fields also had an impact, while slower growth in new orders in the global environmental solutions field was cited as another factor behind the overall downward revision.
