重松製作所 revised first-half final profit from ¥70 million to ¥700 million. The full-year forecast was also substantially raised from the previous forecast of ¥730 million to ¥1.27 billion.
重松製作所 substantially raised its forecast for final profit for cumulative 2Q FY2027 (April-September), from the previous forecast of ¥70 million to ¥700 million. The revision reflects strong first-half performance and means that profit is expected to improve to 10 times the initial forecast.
The full-year final profit forecast was also raised from ¥730 million to ¥1.27 billion, and is now expected to increase significantly year on year. The revised full-year profit growth rate is expected to be approximately 80.9%, with notable growth also expected compared with the ¥700 million recorded in the previous fiscal year.
The company cited strong orders from its main customers in the manufacturing sector and solid orders for its products as reasons for the revision. It explained that, despite the impact of higher raw material prices, personnel expenses and borrowing rates, profit is expected to exceed the previous forecast.
