UNITED ARROWS and GMO AI & Robotics Trading have jointly developed original apparel for humanoid robots, with pre-orders starting on 20 October 2026. Designers and robot engineers worked together on a unisex design that takes size, range of motion and heat dissipation into account.
As humanoid robots become increasingly integrated into society, UNITED ARROWS has announced its first jointly developed apparel for humanoids with GMO AI & Robotics Trading. The project draws on expertise in making clothing for people and aims to combine appearance and functionality tailored to the characteristics of the robot.
The original apparel was developed by UNITED ARROWS designers in cooperation with GMO AIR robot engineers. It pursues a beautiful silhouette while avoiding interference with joints and gears, and incorporates measures such as omitting the lining to improve heat dissipation.
The apparel is based on a unisex uniform concept and consists of 4 items: a jacket, trousers, T-shirt and scarf. The target model is Unitree’s G1, and the design prioritises harmony between the body and the robot.
Pre-orders will be accepted from 20 October 2026 at 18:00 through GMO AIR’s inquiry form. Sales are scheduled to be conducted mainly through GMO Humanoid.shop, as well as at in-person events.
