UNITED ARROWS and GMO AIR jointly developed original apparel for humanoid robots. The target model is Unitree G1, with four items available: a jacket, pants, T-shirt and scarf. The apparel will be sold on GMO Humanoid.shop, with inquiries opening at 18:00 on 20 October 2026.
Select shop UNITED ARROWS and GMO AIR announced the joint development of original apparel as part of their efforts to promote the social adoption of humanoid robots. UNITED ARROWS designers and GMO AIR robotics engineers worked together, examining an actual unit and testing sizing, range of motion and heat dissipation, with the aim of combining functionality and an approachable appearance.
The apparel is designed with unisex and uniform concepts in mind and consists of four items: a jacket, pants, T-shirt and scarf. Key features include avoiding interference with joints, heat management and the adoption of light gray to harmonize with the robot's metallic texture.
The target model is the Unitree "G1." The lineup comprises a jacket, pants, T-shirt and scarf, inquiries open at 18:00 on 20 October 2026, and the sales channel is GMO Humanoid.shop. The apparel is intended to enhance the humanoid's appearance and approachability through the provision of clothing.
Applications will be accepted through GMO AIR's inquiry form from the inquiry opening date. The sales page is scheduled to go live on 20 November 2026. The project is positioned as part of an initiative to reconsider the relationship between robots and people from a fashion perspective.
