Nagaoka City has announced that, as a measure to address rising prices, it will use the national government’s “重点支援地方創生臨時交付金 for responding to rising prices” to distribute ¥10,000 worth of support vouchers per resident, consisting of ten ¥1,000 vouchers.
Eligible recipients are Nagaoka City residents registered in the Basic Resident Register as of 1 March 2026.
The vouchers may be used from the date of receipt through 20 October 2026.
