De'Longhi Japan will launch the Braun Air Fryer MultiFry 3 on 5 November. By offering a texture close to fried food without using oil, together with ease of use, the company aims to capture growing demand in the air fryer market.
De'Longhi Japan announced that it will launch the Braun Air Fryer MultiFry 3 on 5 November as a new product from Braun Household. The company said there is room for further growth in air fryer sales in the Japanese market.
The appliance features proprietary hot-air circulation technology, RealAir Technology, which uses a high-speed fan to distribute high-temperature air throughout the unit, crisping the surface while locking in the flavour inside. Fat reduction is said to reach up to 90%, with the company highlighting its ability to minimise compromises in taste.
Cooking can begin simply by placing the ingredients inside, without preheating, and the company says cooking time can be reduced by up to approximately 50% compared with a conventional oven. There are 8 automatic cooking programmes, temperatures from 80 to 200°C, and manual temperature and time settings.
The capacity is 4.3L, allowing up to approximately 1 kg of frozen French fries to be cooked at once. Following advance sales through the official website, the product is scheduled to roll out on Amazon, Rakuten and Yahoo! Shopping within the year. The price is open, but the official website lists it at ¥17,820 including tax.
