Kappa Sushi will hold the “Kappa Classic Tuna Festival” nationwide from 22 October to 11 November, offering premium lean southern bluefin tuna at ¥121 per piece. Nine items, including marinated, seared and otoro-topped tuna, will be available for dine-in only.
During the campaign, Kappa Sushi will offer “Premium Lean Meat — Southern Bluefin Tuna” at ¥121 per piece, centered on premium lean southern bluefin tuna cut at the restaurant. The lineup also includes marinated and seared premium lean meat, marinated tuna topped with yuzu, and a flame-seared variation. “Tuna Chunks with Otoro” will also be offered in a similar price range as an alternative to otoro.
The lineup includes “Premium Southern Bluefin Tuna: 3-Way Tasting,” featuring otoro, chutoro and premium lean meat on one plate, and “Tuna Chunks with Grated Yam, Wrapped in Shiso” (¥176). All items are for dine-in only.
Separate menu items will include “Two-Tuna Tasting: Tekka Small Rice Bowl” (¥594), “Two-Tuna Tasting: Tekka Small Rice Bowl Set” (¥1,089, including miso soup and chawanmushi), and “Tuna Tempura Udon with Tuna Flakes” (¥352).
The sales period is 22 October to 11 November 2026. The campaign will be held at most Kappa Sushi locations nationwide, excluding stores undergoing renovation or temporarily closed, and items may sell out or sales may end depending on the weather, supply conditions and sales performance.
