Dream Arts has established a new program to certify SmartDB advanced-qualified individuals as trainers and will provide certified individuals with know-how on course delivery. The inaugural course is scheduled to be held in Tokyo on 9 December.
Dream Arts has launched the SmartDB Evangelist Program, which certifies holders of advanced grades in SCS, the certification program for SmartDB, a cloud platform for business digitalisation, as trainers who develop business designers, and has begun accepting applications. As IT talent shortages grow and the importance of in-house DX capabilities increases, the company will systematise and provide its know-how for developing trainers.
The program is open to implementation leads at companies using SmartDB and representatives of partner companies. Certification is free of charge and valid for 1 year. The inaugural course is scheduled to be held in Tokyo on 9 December. Certified individuals will receive a guidebook containing course materials and a trainer script.
The cumulative number of SCS-certified individuals exceeded 5,000 as of October 2026, and Dream Arts has set a target of increasing the number of certified individuals to 10,000 through courses delivered by evangelists.
Going forward, the company plans to incorporate learning content aimed at expanding certification related to the use of AI. Wider adoption of SmartDB is expected as the pool of personnel capable of using the platform expands within customer companies.
