Dream Arts is launching the SmartDB Evangelist Certification Program to develop talent responsible for advancing digital transformation, certifying trainers who can plan and deliver SCS courses. The inaugural course is scheduled to be held in person in Tokyo on 9 December 2026.
Against a backdrop of IT talent shortages and the accelerating use of AI, Dream Arts will launch the SmartDB Evangelist Certification Program for advanced SCS course participants. The program will certify their ability to develop trainers who can independently plan and deliver courses.
Under the program, SmartDB evangelists will be positioned as individuals who understand the democratisation of DX and can develop business designers by planning and delivering SCS courses. The program will also provide ongoing learning opportunities, including a trainer guidebook and information-sharing sessions and study-group invitations after certification.
Eligibility is limited to holders of the SCS SAPPHIRE or MENOU grade. Formal certification will follow a written examination after the course and a review of a video showing the applicant delivering the course. There is no fee, and certification is valid for 1 year. Renewal requires a report on courses held and completion of a renewal course.
The inaugural course is scheduled for Wednesday, 9 December 2026, and will be held in person in Tokyo. The company has indicated plans to increase the total number of SCS-certified individuals to 10,000, and expects to incorporate an expansion of SmartDB Practical AI certification into the courses.
