OPTiM has updated its MDM service, OPTiM Biz, to version 10.7, expanding its Windows device activity logging capabilities. The update broadens the scope of file operations recorded, making it easier to identify signs of confidential information being taken during employee departures or job changes, as well as data loss caused by user errors. The same functionality is also now available with OPTiM Biz Premium, enabling centralized tracking of who did what on which device.
On 16 October 2026, OPTiM announced version 10.7 as the latest update to OPTiM Biz, saying it would expand the service's Windows device activity logging capabilities. The update adds file operation logging, covering file renaming, moving, deletion, copying, overwriting and creation.
The enhanced functionality supports the early identification of information leakage risks originating from devices and the subsequent investigation of their causes. It is expected to be particularly useful for detecting signs of confidential information being taken by departing or job-changing employees, as well as data loss caused by user errors.
The same functionality is also available with OPTiM Biz Premium, allowing ID management (SSO), SaaS management and asset management to be operated through a single service, in addition to device activity logging. This enables centralized visibility into who did what, on which device and to which service.
