MDM and PC management service OPTiM Biz has announced an update adding file operation log collection. Tracking the removal of confidential data when employees leave the company and data loss caused by operator errors is now possible more quickly.
OPTiM CORPORATION, a market leader in AI, IoT and big data platforms, announced that it will update its MDM and PC management service OPTiM Biz to version 10.7 on 18 October 2026. As a new feature, the service's Windows device operation log collection functionality will be expanded to support the collection of file operation logs. This will help identify signs of unauthorised removal of confidential information and data loss caused by operator errors, and support subsequent investigation of the causes.
The feature will also be available in OPTiM Biz Premium. In addition to device operation logs, Premium provides centralised management of identity management (SSO), SaaS management and asset management, enabling an integrated view of who did what on which device. It also supports log collection from devices outside the company network.
