Mitsui-Soko Group will launch “Practical DX Training” for new employees in fiscal 2026. Led by the AI Promotion Office, the program aims to develop “logistics × IT hybrid talent” by integrating frontline operations with IT.
Mitsui-Soko Holdings has announced that it will launch “Practical DX Training” for new employees from fiscal 2026 to strengthen digital adoption across the group. Led by the AI Promotion Office, the training aims to equip new employees, including those in non-IT divisions, with practical skills in using digital tools.
The background includes labour shortages in the logistics industry and increasingly diverse customer needs. The initiative emphasises combining frontline capabilities with digital technology to improve both operational accuracy and creativity. The company aims to create an environment in which all employees can use digital tools effectively and improve IT literacy.
The training will focus on practical, hands-on learning and target new employees who have gained experience in their assigned divisions, including frontline operations, sales and administration, from April onward. The 3 core technologies are generative AI and AI agents, RPA, and BI tools, with training applied to improvements ranging from warehouse operations to sales and administrative work.
The target profile is talent with the frontline DX capabilities to lead the automation of routine tasks and transformation of decision-making processes using AI and RPA. Over the longer term, the group expects to accelerate digital adoption across all of its businesses.
