Mitsui-Soko Holdings Co., Ltd. will launch practical DX training for new hires in fiscal 2026. New hires from operations, sales and administrative departments will learn how to apply AI, RPA and BI tools in their work.
Mitsui-Soko Holdings Co., Ltd. has announced the launch of practical DX training for new hires across the group. Beginning in fiscal 2026, the program will be led by the AI Promotion Office and will give new hires, including those in non-IT departments, hands-on experience using digital tools.
The training will cover 3 areas: generative AI and AI agents, RPA, and BI tools. In the generative AI module, participants will learn how to apply the technology to tasks such as automating import and export documentation and responding to inquiries, together with safe-use practices and ways to integrate it into operations. The RPA module will include exercises based on entering and reconciling shipping instructions and billing data, as well as automating the processing of slips and other forms.
Participants will also learn how to build dashboards using BI tools to visualize and analyze logistics data, including storage efficiency within warehouses, work progress and cargo volumes. The program will be delivered in a hands-on format tailored to the challenges of each participant’s assigned department, targeting new hires who have gained practical experience in their respective departments from April onward.
The company plans to develop “logistics × IT hybrid talent” with both frontline expertise and IT skills, leading to operational improvements in warehouse operations, delivery, import and export, sales and administrative work. The AI Promotion Office will continue working with frontline departments after the training to support the practical application of the skills acquired.
