New autumn snacks have arrived all at once at Calbee's specialty shop Calbee Plus. The lineup includes limited-time products such as Jaga Crispy made with Hokkaido-grown Kitakari potatoes, a new Esssen Potato flavor and roasted sweet-potato fries.
New autumn products will be launched sequentially at Calbee's specialty shop Calbee Plus. "Jaga Crispy Hokkaido Kitakari, Okhotsk Salt Flavor," made with Hokkaido-grown Kitakari potatoes, will go on sale on 20 October. The product contains 108g in 6 bags and is priced at ¥1,129 including tax.
The stick-shaped Jaga Crispy uses a newly adopted thick-cut, flat-stick cut to provide a distinctive texture, and is seasoned with Okhotsk salt to simply enhance the potato's sweetness and flavor.
The thick-cut potato chips Esssen Potato have been renewed. The Hanam藻 Salt and Ariake Seaweed flavors will be sold nationwide, and a new deep dashi flavor with roasted flying fish has been added. Mentaiko and Kyushu Soy Sauce flavors exclusive to the Hakata Hankyu store will also be offered, with prices varying by store.
Seasonal chocolate products for autumn and winter have also arrived. "Beni Tenshi Roasted Sweet-Potato Fries, Salt Flavor" is currently available for a limited time, while Crunch Chocolate Potato is being sold in advance at the New Chitose Airport store. Kappa Ebisen Chocolat, Chocolate Flavor has also been added to the lineup and is characterized by the combination of milk chocolate sweetness and saltiness.
