FIXER has added the redaction app co-developed with Iga City as a standard feature of the on-premises generative AI platform “Sovereign GaiXer” and is launching it today. AI supports redaction work associated with local governments’ information disclosure requests, and the app is also available in the free trial environment.
FIXER announced that it will provide nationwide local governments with an app co-developed with Iga City to support redaction work for information disclosure requests, as a standard feature of Sovereign GaiXer. The redaction app presents potential redactions to assist staff in making decisions, and no additional charge is required.
When local government documents are loaded into the app, it presents a list of potential redactions for personal information, such as names, addresses and telephone numbers, as well as corporate information. The AI presents potential redactions, while staff make the final decisions, and processing is completed within an appliance on a closed network. No data is sent to external generative AI services.
From today, the redaction app can also be trialled in the company’s free trial environment, enabling local governments nationwide to assess its usefulness against their own operations. Going forward, the company plans to expand the implementation developed through work at Iga City as a standard feature.
