Shimizu Bank raised its consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027. It now expects net profit for the current fiscal year to be ¥2.9 billion, an upward revision from its previous announcement. Profit is expected to increase compared with fiscal 2026.
Interest income from loans and securities, including interest and dividends on securities, at the standalone bank is expected to exceed the initial forecast, mainly because of higher interest rates and other factors. This led to the earnings forecast upgrade.
Interim net profit for the April-September 2026 period is expected to be ¥2.2 billion, up from the previously announced ¥1.7 billion. The increase in interim profit is cited as a factor behind the upward revision from the initial plan.
The dividend forecast was also raised, with ¥35 per share expected for both the interim and year-end payments, for an annual dividend of ¥70.
