The Bank of Saga revised up its consolidated earnings forecast for the six months ending September 2026. Interim net income is expected to reach ¥5.8 billion, up from the previously announced forecast of ¥5.1 billion and representing a 15% increase year on year.
The factors behind the upward revision include gains on sales aimed at improving the securities portfolio, as well as increases in interest on loans and fees and commissions.
The interim dividend forecast was raised from ¥55 per share to ¥65. Combined with the ¥55 year-end dividend forecast, the full-year dividend is expected to be ¥120.
The full-year net income forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027 remains unchanged at ¥9.3 billion, due to uncertainty over future economic and financial conditions.
