The kubell Group’s online storage service “Secure SAMBA” and cloud mail service “atena” have begun API integration. Mail received, opened and scanned by atena is automatically saved in a designated Secure SAMBA folder, enabling sharing inside and outside the company and use of chat functions.
kubell Storage, Inc. and atena, Inc., both part of the kubell Group, have begun API integration between the business online storage service “Secure SAMBA” and the cloud mail service “atena.” This enables mail digitised by atena to be saved automatically in a designated Secure SAMBA folder, completing the receipt, storage and sharing process in the cloud.
With access rights set, saved data can be shared not only with internal staff but also with external advisers such as tax accountants and certified social insurance and labour consultants. Secure SAMBA features including operation-log recording and “Chatwork” integration remain available. The integration streamlines the process of scanning and digitising paper mail and supports the digitalisation of back-office operations.
As digitalisation becomes established alongside the expansion of remote work and DX initiatives, the burden of receiving, storing and sharing paper mail has emerged as an issue. The integration is positioned as an initiative aimed at completing these processes in the cloud.
kubell will continue to expand integration among services within the group and strengthen its support structure for back-office operations at small and medium-sized companies. Secure SAMBA is one of Japan’s largest online storage services, with more than 8,000 adopting companies and a high retention rate, and its integration with Chatwork is also a strength.
