Apple’s new product launch event was held on 9 September, at 2:00 a.m. Japan time on 10 September, and new products including a foldable iPhone were announced. The event featured the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, the foldable iPhone Duo, new Apple Watch models and AirPods 5.

The iPhone 18 Pro was priced at ¥219,800 for 256GB, ¥254,800 for 512GB, ¥324,800 for 1TB and ¥429,800 for 2TB. The iPhone 18 Pro Max was priced at ¥239,800 for 256GB, ¥274,800 for 512GB, ¥344,800 for 1TB and ¥449,800 for 2TB.
The foldable iPhone was priced from ¥364,800 for 256GB to ¥574,800 for 2TB, putting even the least expensive model in the high-priced ¥360,000 range.
Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4 and AirPods 5 were also announced, with their respective storage capacities, materials and prices presented. AirPods 5 were priced at ¥23,800 for the noise-cancelling model and ¥27,800 for the model with wireless charging.
