Apple has officially announced that it will hold its fall new product launch event on 9 September (U.S. time). The event will take place at 10:00 a.m. local time at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park, and will be available to watch on the official website, the official YouTube channel, and the Apple TV app.
The centerpiece is expected to be new iPhone models, including enhancements to Pro models such as the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. Meanwhile, there have also been reports that the standard iPhone 18 will not be introduced and may instead be announced in spring 2027 or later.
The launch of a foldable iPhone is expected to be the focus of years of speculation. It is said to have a book-style design that opens to provide access to a large display. The name and price have not been finalized, although there has also been information suggesting candidates such as the iPhone Ultra.
This year’s event will be the first major presentation under a new leadership structure, with the CEO position changing from Tim Cook to John Ternus. Interest is expected to focus on Apple’s policies and messaging under the new leadership, and free live streaming has also been announced.
