サンテック set its first-half operating profit forecast at ¥2.378 billion, twice the level in the previous fiscal year.
The forecast was raised to 2.3 times the previous estimate because electrical equipment work for a data centre in Malaysia increased versus the plan and cost reductions took effect.
The current operating profit forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027 is ¥2.700 billion, down 10.4% from the previous fiscal year.
The full-year forecast is scheduled to be announced when the interim results are released on 10 November.
