Santec raised its first-half consolidated ordinary profit forecast from the previous estimate of ¥1.3 billion to ¥2.67 billion, resulting in a forecast 74.1% increase in profit. The full-year ordinary profit forecast was left unchanged at the previous estimate of ¥3.2 billion.
Santec revised its outlook for consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April–September), raising its previous forecast. As a result, first-half ordinary profit is expected to reach ¥2.67 billion, a substantial increase from ¥1.53 billion in the same period of the previous year.
The revised full-year ordinary profit forecast remains unchanged at ¥3.2 billion, and the assumptions underlying the full-year outlook have not changed. The notification materials also state that the schedule for future earnings announcements has not yet been finalized.
The revision was attributed to higher revenue resulting from electrical equipment work for a data center in Malaysia exceeding the planned level, which led to an improvement in gross profit. Accordingly, operating profit, ordinary profit, and net income were all revised upward from the previously announced figures.
