Ahead of the retirement of Suica Penguin, the first pop-up shop will open for a limited time at NEWoMan Shinjuku in Shinjuku, Tokyo, from 13 October. Limited-edition products and purchase gifts will be available during the event.
Belle Maison, operated by 千趣会, announced that it will hold multiple pop-up shops in Tokyo before the retirement of Suica Penguin, the mascot of JR East’s transportation IC card, Suica. The first shop will be held in NEWoMan Shinjuku’s station concourse event space from 13 October to 1 November 2026.
The shop will sell everyday items such as home-use interior goods, pouches and shoulder bags, as well as new and limited-edition products featuring special art themed around the character’s retirement. The shop will open at 11:00 on the first day, and its opening hours may change thereafter.
